Where does the money go?
All proceeds benefit the health and wellness of children in our community through the 17 signature pediatric outreach programs of CHRISTUS Health Shreveport-Bossier. Past beneficiaries have included the Cara Center for child victims of child abuse and neglect, Atkins Elementary for a garden planted and maintained by the students to learn about agriculture, nutrition and healthy eating. We love our children and believe our highest calling is to do right by them.
What's new this year?
This year, we hope you’ll “Run With The Nuns” in whatever way suits you best: by motorcycle, by foot, by 2 wheels! We’ve added a 5k and 10k for runners and bicycle tours for our bicycle enthusiasts.

RWTN's 2015 Religious Medal
Holy Medal and Blessing sponsored by Bishop Michael Duca and the Catholic Diocese of Shreveport. Bishop Duca selected St. Paul for the medal this year.
Paul the Apostle originally known as Saul of Tarsus. In the mid-30s to the mid-50s, he founded several churches in Asia Minor and Europe. According to the New Testament, Saul of Tarsus (Paul) in his early years persecuted the disciples of Jesus in Jerusalem. The book of Acts says while Paul was traveling on the road from Jerusalem to Damascus on a mission to "bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem", the resurrected Jesus appeared to him in a great light. He was struck blind, but after three days his sight was restored and Paul began to preach that Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah and the Son of God.
During our Biker Blessing, each participant will receive a free St. Paul medal. Bikes will be blessed by Bishop Duca and Msgr. Earl Provenza beggining at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 17, in the Red River District, Downtown Shreveport.
